Requirements for the Program
- Excellent work record
- Supervisor recommendation
- Six months full-time service
- Excellent driving record
- No felonies
- Less than Step 2 of discipline
- DTI Director of Transportation approval
- Distribution Center (DC) specific Truck Driver Training

Tuition Paid
- DTI will pay for truck driving school to obtain permit and CDL
- Valued at $7,000

DTI Training Program
- 6–10 weeks in orientation and training
- Paid $750/week
- All meals provided

Driver Schedule
- No set schedule initially (except 4×4)
- Customer service means a varied schedule—it won’t always be consistent!
