With all of the buzz surrounding electric trucks, you may be wondering when Dot Transportation, Inc. (DTI) is planning to purchase its first all-electric powered truck. The answer? Now!
This Canada Day, we are talking about all things Dot Transportation Canada (DTC). DTC began operations in December of 2018, with an April 2019 target to begin service to customers in Southern Ontario.
We realized that to accomplish our goals, we needed to hire the right people and have the right equipment in place.
You spoke. We listened.
We are excited to announce the grand reveal of the other TWO veteran trailers on June 20, 2019. Join us at 10:00 a.m. CST to see all FOUR veteran trailers side by side before they make their way to every corner of the country—driven only by our Dot drivers.
Driver pay is something that is continuously evolving and top-of-mind in the trucking industry. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the median pay for truck drivers in 2017 was $42,480, but truck driver salaries have been seen to vary depending on location, type of haul, and experience levels…
At Dot, we care about our employees and their families, and we value their time. Because of this, we pay our drivers not only for each mile they drive but also for a lot of the activity they have to conduct while on the road.
National Guard Association of Indiana (NGAI) Community Partner Dot Transportation, Inc. (DTI), has developed a career transition program to support individuals looking to break into the trucking industry. The Earn to Learn program, launched in 2014 by the Cambridge City distribution center (DC), works with selected applicants to obtain funding for CDL-A school as well as paying students a weekly stipend of $500 during school and $750 during the training and orientation period.
