Hi everyone! My name is Bryan Langston, and after the 2021 National Business Meeting (NBM), I’ll be transitioning over to be president of Dot Transportation, Inc. (DTI) as Paul Mugerditchian transitions into a different role, beginning his march to retirement. I want to take this opportunity to introduce myself to those of you I don’t know.
Bryan’s History with Dot
My current role is vice president of warehousing in Mt. Sterling, but I started with Dot 20 years ago. I like to say I’ve been married to Dot for six months less than I have been married to my wife. That makes it easy for me to keep track of anniversaries! After several years of growing up working in grocery stores, my time at Dot started at a company called Principal Resource. It was a small telesales company in Dallas.
In 2002, my wife, Kelli, and I moved to the St. Louis area, and I transitioned to outside sales as a district sales manager (DSM) for customers in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Kansas.
In 2004 we moved to Ardmore, Oklahoma, and helped open that distribution center (DC). This was the start of my time in operations.
In 2006, we moved to Quincy, Illinois, and I have worked in several different positions in the Mt. Sterling warehouse since that time.
About Bryan
My wife and I have two boys, Ben and Max, who are 13 and 6. We spend a lot of time on a small hobby farm that we have, chasing whatever is in season in the woods, fishing, and generally enjoying being outside. We also like to travel quite a bit and enjoy visiting national parks. Next year’s trip is going to be to Mount Rushmore and the Badlands—we are excited about getting out there.

I am also excited about getting out to see all of you. I’ll be traveling to all of our DCs in the first several months of the year to meet lots of our drivers, garage, dispatch, and gate personnel. I can’t wait! Please introduce yourself and tell me what you do when we see each other. I will still be learning all of the different roles on this side of the business, so get ready for some dumb questions from me! I am looking forward to learning from you all.
