You spoke. We listened.
Last fall, we asked you all to vote on your favorite military-themed veteran trailer design. Then, we surprised you all with a reveal of the winning trailer.
Now, we are excited to announce the grand reveal of the other TWO veteran trailers on June 20, 2019. Join us at 10:00 a.m. CST to see all FOUR veteran trailers side by side before they make their way to every corner of the country—driven only by our Dot drivers.
We’ll also be giving you all an inside look at our Peterbilt and Volvo equipment.
Click “Interested” on our Facebook event so you get notified when we go LIVE on Facebook on June 20. You won’t want to miss this!
Dot Supports and Hires Veterans
Dot Transportation, Inc. (DTI) debuted the first military-themed veteran trailer back in 2016. Then we revealed a second trailer in 2018 to continue to honor all members of U.S. Armed Forces.
Dot’s co-founder, Robert ‘RT’ Tracy, served in the U.S. Marines during World War II. Today, military veterans work in all areas of our business—including drivers, warehouse personnel, logistics, and corporate services. Ninety-six percent of our veteran employees recommend driving for Dot.
“Dot Foods and Dot Transportation are fortunate to employ veterans in all areas of our business,” said Paul Mugerditchian, Dot Transportation president. “We want to recognize their service and sacrifice—and that of all members of the military everywhere.”
At Dot, veterans can leverage what they know best—hard work and dedication—for a successful career.
At DTI, one of our goals is to help veterans transition from their military service to a fulfilling driving career. We work with the Army PaYS program and with Army transition offices in the U.S. to recruit transitioning personnel.
Dot also has a Veteran Employee Resource Group based out of our headquarters location in Mt. Sterling, Illinois. This group not only helps our employees, but also conducts community service in our surrounding communities to support veterans.
