National Truck Driver Appreciation Week takes place each year from September 9-15, honoring the work of the more than 3.5 million professional truck drivers in the U.S.

We love having this dedicated opportunity to celebrate our drivers, but the truth is, we are grateful for our Dot drivers every single day of the year.

Each of our drivers at every Dot location is an important part of our business. So thank you — for every mile that you drive, each customer that you service, and your everyday focus on safety.

Celebrating Our Dot Drivers

Our drivers span across the country and our 12 transportation distribution centers. They cover multiple truck driver job types and schedules — from Class A CDL Regional company Delivery Drivers to no-touch positions, team drivers, and a 4×3 Flip. They work tough schedules but know how important it is to balance that with home time.

Dot drivers endure harsh weather conditions, demanding delivery schedules, and long hours. They are exceptionally hard working and keep truck driver safety at the forefront of their minds during every run.

Hard Work and Strong Values

Since day one, Dot’s company culture has centered on a strong set of values — values that our drivers embody every day. Those of family, honesty, teamwork, accountability, and always prioritizing the needs of our customers. We value our drivers, offering competitive compensation and benefits, thorough truck driving training, quality home time, and top-of-the-line equipment and technology. These things are just some ways we say “thanks” to our drivers each day.

Truck drivers — your hard work and dedication do not go unnoticed. This Truck Driver Appreciation Week (and every week of the year), we want you to know we appreciate the sacrifices you make to help create the world-class Dot organization.

Because of you, we are moving in the right direction. Thank you for choosing Dot.
