Small town roots, trusted family values.
In 1960, we made our first deliveries from the back of the Tracy family station wagon. Today, we operate a fleet of 1,110 trucks and deliver weekly to food distributors nationwide.
Dot Transportation (DTI), a subsidiary of Dot Foods, operates 1,110 multi-temperature trucks to ship frozen, refrigerated and dry food products all together in a single load. We deliver weekly to 4,100 food distributors and wholesalers nationwide. Our trucks are meticulously maintained in our garages by our own certified mechanics. Why do DTI and Dot Foods continue to grow? Because redistribution works. It helps everyone -- manufacturers, distributors and brokers – be more efficient in the food industry supply chain. As a DTI driver, our phenomenal growth means great job security for you. In fact, Dot and DTI have never had a layoff in the entire history of the company.
Find a Location Near You
DTI drivers work out of Dot Foods’ distribution centers, plus several regional terminals. To assure our drivers maximum home time, we prefer to hire drivers within a 100-mile radius of our locations.
Partners And Military
Dot Transportation is committed to hiring a diverse group of drivers. We are active members and partner with many national trucking associations, including the National Association for Minority Truckers and Women in Trucking. DTI also honors military veterans and has increased the number of veterans hired tenfold in the last ten years. We actively work with Army transition offices around the country to recruit transitioning military personnel. If you are a military veteran from any branch of the service and are interested in a driving career, DTI would like to talk with you!
Driving School Programs
Dot Transportation employs many of the best drivers on the road – and has one of the lowest turnover rates in the industry. We actively recruit nationwide at accredited truck driving schools. DTI reimburses new hires for truck driver training tuition, if the schooling has been completed within the last 3 years at a DTI-approved institution.
