About Dot Transportation

Dot Foods is ranked #65 on Forbes Magazine’s list of America’s Largest Private Companies. It is also featured in Jason Jennings’ book, Think Big, Act Small, about successful and innovative American companies.

As its transportation subsidiary, Dot Transportation has grown right along with Dot Foods. The company’s original “fleet” was the Tracy family station wagon and a 15-year-old Cessna plane that RT piloted himself. We’ve expanded to a large fleet of 1,100 trucks…all maintained in company garages by our own staff of trained mechanics.

Culture

Dot’s founders Robert and Dorothy Tracy understood that for their company to be a success, it would have to be built on a foundation of strong values. So they instilled Dot Foods and Dot Transportation with a set of values that have never wavered since the company first started.

From the beginning, these values have formed a bond of trust between Dot and our customers, other business partners and employees. It’s a sense of family, honesty, teamwork, accountability and always putting our customers first. That’s what we expect from our employees, and that’s what our customers expect from us.
Here at Dot, we know the real key to our success is our culture. Small town. Friendly. Honest. Hard working. You’ll find a home here!
